    Why Use a Wheelwash

    What is a Wheelwash

In the case of the wesley washman, the answer is an advance automatic cleaning system for the wheels and the under body.

    The Wheelwash System

The system works automatically by the wheelwash 'seeing' the vehicle comming and turning the system on, the vehicle then inches through and is cleaned as it goes, when the vehicle is through the system is turned off.
The water that has been used for the cleaning process flows from the wash platform and into the sump tank, the water is then pumped into the settlement tank, where the debris drops out and is removed through the bauer couplings, the water is then ready to be re-used.

    The Wheelwash Platform

The platform is where the cleaning operation takes place, the vehicles enter from one side, inch through the wheelwash as it cleans the vehical and exit from the other side.
The Wheelwash platform is of steel construction and all parts are galvanised or pre zinc treated.
The platform incorporates a grid system to help massage the dirt out of the tyre's as the wheelwash cleans

    The Sump Tank

The sump tank catches large debris in the basket in the top and lets the silt drop in to the bottom, where the submersible pump lifts it in to the head of the settlement tank

    The Pump House

The pump house is where the pump and motor are housed, the electrical equipment and controls also housed inside the pump house

    Water Recycling System

The water recycling is done inside the settlement tank, where the sediment drops out of the water and is removed from the tank via the 6 inch bauer coupling into a waiting tanker.

    Chassis Washer Equipment

This is the 'Wesley Washman automated chassis washer'. This fully automated chassis wash can be surface mounted.
The Chassis Wash cleaning power is gained by the use of both high pressure water and a good volumn of water, as you can see here both are in evidence

The chassis wash can be Programmed and fully operational in a matter of hours subject to the availability of a water supply and 3 phase power supply
Alternatively the chassis wash can be installed in a maintenance pit.
Once a vehicle is in positioned on the platform the washer programme can be activated.
The system is simple enough to operate, no special trained staff are required*.
The equipment will then run a pre-configured programme with out the need for an operator
Wesley Washman revolutionary jet wash trolley, equipped with rotating jet, will traverse the length of the platform spraying the vehicle with cleaning fluids and hot water thoroughly cleaning the chassis ready for MOT inspection and regular maintenance
The Wesley washman chassis wash is manufactured to accommodate standard size vehicle including buses, coaches, train carriages and engines and articulated lorries of up to 19 metres in length
However bespoke chassis washes can be manufactured to your exact specifications

Guard rails and other health and safety equipment are supplied to your requirements, please specify if your site has a particular requirement for your chassis wash, also including specific health and safety concerns.
Access platforms are avalible to help people and vehicles get on and off the platform system safely and conveniently
